  • Well done, you have done so well keep it going!

    Loan from Mum £500/£300
    DH computer £270.06/PAID :T
    Kids computer £854.33/46.18

    Car £5374.04/316.12
  • Ok time to set myself some goals again I think...

    £653 to be at 50%

From August wage I am going to pay at least half of this to reach 45% paid off minimum...

The payments I have to make are
    - £50 to credit card with DCA
    - £25 to council tax arrears

I am also going on holiday in about 7 weeks so need some spending money for this...

Have been reading up on credit files and I am now in no hurry to clear the credit card with DCA, the default is there and will remain for 6 years whether I pay £50 a month or clear it quickly, so family and council tax is the priority to clear :)
March 2013 LBM so here goes....PAID OFF £6944! Unfortunately have built it all back up again! Amounts to be added up soon! Scare myself into action! 30/05/2018 LBM 2
  • £45 paid to council tax arrears :) I will get my debt busting brain back!!

  • 7 days until pay day...

Im off work today and actually cant be bothered doing a single thing. At least if I don't do anything then I am not spending haha.

Debt busting is sooo hard, expecially seen as once the debt is gone I will be saving to get a large mortgage type debt!!

Seen a new car that I really want, trying to resist as this would add to my monthly outgoings....

*Sorry harsh post on it's way*

TTGU, it seems to me that you need to fix the dimmer switch on that lightbulb ;) You are 100% debt busting and do very well but then your eyes move off the path and you decide to 'treat' yourself. You have already booked a holiday that wasn't planned at the start of your journey as you 'deserve' it but I think this is a step too far!

You have a perfectly good car at the moment you really don't need to keep up with the Jones you need to clear your debt and start savig for a house. No one truely cares what car you drive, what you wear or where you shop and if they do THEY have a problem not you. You really need to start living within your means taking on more debt (to finance) a car is not living within your means. Not to mention pushing you deeper into debt and undoing all the work you ahve done for the last few months. I really hope you think long and hard about this because if you decide to 'purchase' a new car I will await your returning posts...

    Take care :)

Hahaha glad people are sooo honest. I dont need one, just gone off the debt busting rails recently...
Have decided against it tho, because I still have lots of debt without adding another £15000 onto it. Nice to look at the pictures tho :P
