Hi all
Me and my partner have finally decided to take the plunge after 5 years together!!
We have decided on Mauritius as our destination and as we would prefer to have a TA do it all, we just would feel safer with it all handled and one package would make it easier
We have narrowed to 2 TAs but would love some advice of who you all went with and your experiences would be fab
They are:
Premier travel agency
Thomas cook signiture

I wouldn't use a TA actually, one lazy rep and the day of your dreams is in tatters, it happens fairly frequently.
I'd choose the hotel I liked and liaise with them directly rather than having to keep going through a third party. Just make sure you familiarise yourself with documentation requirements, translations and have appropriate travel insurance.
But, if I was really going to use a TA, I'd go with kuoni, they are the only company in the travel agent world I've ever dealt with who have comprehension of good customer service.

Just to add to this, Trailfinders are also very good indeed. Far and away the best agents we've ever used. We're going to Vegas in May to get married (though we haven't booked the ceremony through them) then onto Mexico and I'm very confident that it will be great :-)0

Although we are getting married here we used trailfinders for our american honeymoon and so far they have been brilliant.
A few friends have used them too and have always found them really good.0 -
We have used Kuoni for our honeymoon and would never go back to any of the others.
The Customer Service has been outstanding and we have no doubt that our honeymoon will be fantastic.
We told them our budget, what we like to do and left them with it to come up with 3 suggestions based on this. One day later they called and dollowed up with emails with costings
No 1, was America, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, San Francisco and then California to finish with a relax at the beach
No 2, was Kenyan Safari and then beach
No 3, was Thailand Bangkok for a week followed by 10 days at the beach in Hua Hin
We went for no 3, upgraded the flights, upgraded from the suggested hotels, added some excursions, all whilst having a glass of wine at their offices. I say offices as it did not feel like a usual TA, you were at a separate desk no one could hear what you were discussing so it all felt personal.
Paid the final balance yesterday and the member of staff checked we were happy with all choices and details before taking payment.0
