Well, the whole account will disappear off your report by the end of next month no matter what you do.

So you may as well sit tight.

But its showing a default for every month since. Im sure the original default is over a year before the date shown

    No. It is not.

It's just the crap way that the CRAs show the data.

You have the original default dated 25-4-07. That is the ONLY default you have.

The line of D's are not new defaults. They are monthly status codes. When you are behind with payments they would list 1 or 2 or 3 etc months in arrears. When the account has defaulted, they change to a D for the account status.

So it is a monthly update of the status, NOT a new default each month.

It is confusing, and you are not the first, nor will you be the last, to misread them as new defaults.

The default is 25-4-07. That is it.

The whole account, every detail, the default, status history, outstanding balance, the lot, will all come off your report 6 years from that original date.

The first date is what matter and more importantly the date you last paid or acknowledged the debt .
Sit tight and prey nobody picks the flag up from the noddle report.
They have around 20 days to LBA + apply for a CCJ.
Then that is any chance of a mortgage gone big time.
I dont think you are grasping what is happening, sit tight it will vanish, start calling, chasing and it is back with a vicious bite.
You really should have come here first before calling Noddle,or any other credit ref agency they do sell details to debt companies.
    Be happy...;)

The Experian report didnt show it at all

That is good news in itself - Experian date is widely used by lenders alongside your application data when they run their internal credit scoring processes

You might want to check your Equifax report too to see if it shows there too.

What is the date of account opening and default for this on the Noddle report?
