Well that's annoying. I got my coupon but didn't realise you needed a smartphone, and the offer also only seems to be available from convenience stores rather than big supermarkets.

Agreed. It's really annoying. I'm sure loads of people who applied don't have an iPhone or Android. I wouldn't have applied if I had known that would be the case. I expected a voucher.

And I'm not too keen on the shop, scan, save thing. I was reading on here people who had problems with the maltesers offer last time with the PayPoint using a different type of system or staff not knowing what to do and refusing to honor it etc. Not worth that much hassle for a pack of Haribos.

Are the promotional codes actually different? Mine is SMS which seems rather generic - just short for Student Money Saver.

No Pomdren. It is generic. It is "sms" for everybody.

I think they do the free campaign of giving away free bags so that they can gather a large market base.
