Currently favoring the last one as it has a 6 cell battery, core 2 duo and 1 year warranty. (absolute top of budget though, slightly passed it to be honest)
So....
Anything any better out there for a similar price?
How does the 1501 compare with the 6400?
Windows Vista business vs Home Premium?

I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 1501 from WWW.MCSCOM.CO.UK
Came with a Dell 3 year on-site warranty for under £400.
Also try Dell Outlet and it's ebay shop (cosmetic damage e.g. scratched) for some really good deals.
Best of luckKeep smiling,

you can walk into Aldi and pick up this one still for £459 - saw it today, looks good and the spec looks excellent. Aldi stuff is usually 3 years full cover.

I am kind of biased against Dell, but only on the experience of 2 years with a Lattitude 600 which has had 1 new power pack, 2 new motherboards, 1 new hard drive, all under warranty but its playing up again now. Build quality and design in my opinion are a bit hit and miss.0
