What to do following an Employment Tribunal?

Hi, a bit of an employment tribunal question, i won’t bore you with the specifics, i’ll just get to the meat of the matter:

Worked for an employer for 3 months, always had problems getting paid (usual excuse: “I’m waiting for them to pay me, before i can pay you” - etc). I decided enough was enough, and left the company, with him owing me several hundred copies of the queens head.

So: I put in an employment tribunal claim. He never responded to the claim, so there was a “Default Judgement” in my favour. (so, i won. Woo! :T)

What i want to know now is:


1) - Do i have to leave it any amount of time before i can “Send the lads round” as it were?


2) - Do i have to give him a chance to pay? And if so, what time frame do i have to give, before i press on with ‘arry and co.?


3) - What happens if he decides: “sod me sideways, i ain’t paying”. Where would i stand?

Hi, Thanks for them. I have already seen them, but they don't really explain in detail.

Like, as an example: it says: "
If your employer doesn’t pay

If you don’t get your payment, first contact your employer to find out why.


If they still don’t pay, you can force them to."


I know i can make a clam at the county court, but that leaves more questions that need answering.


I'd like to be wearing a rubber suit before i jump in the electric eel tank!
