Music shop that sells Flutes

Hi - tried couple music shops near me .... Coleraine and Maghera and neither stock flutes.

Wonder where would be the best place to have a look ? - We have had a basic starter flute for a few years and now ready for a half decent one.

I would start your search at Matchetts music store in Belfast.

Matchetts do sell flutes but might also be worth looking on gumtree or other second hand websites. Tend to find parents buy lovely instruments for kids and they soon get fed up of lessons leaving it hardly used, unwanted and collecting dust. I wouldn't bother with eBay as you really need to check out the flute prior to buying.

how daft am I - didnt think of gumtree! - found one near me for sale for £250 ..... think I will offer a fair bit lower ;-)
Yamaha 211 - seems to be someone who played at school and has given up and would prefer the money.
