I'm only looking as I expect to be in hospital for a few days and know how BORING it can be when you've finished your book, you can't leave the ward to get a new one and they charge a fortune to bring a TV round!

To get the price I mention use super saver delivery, and google checkout... I've not done it yet myself but am SERIOUSLY considering it

Received mine yesterday - a cracking bargain. The spec looks a bit overinflated, as I find that the video output is actually composite video and there is no optical output. Many thanks to the OP

You could always try Aldi, they have a 7 inch ( or 7.5inch) Tevion DVD player that comes with remote, earphones and case that attaches to the back of a car seat. It's on the front page of the current Aldi leaflet. We bought the 47inch Tevion HD ready TV from Aldi a few weeks ago, so can recommend the brand.
  • hiya! thanks.. i have not got a current aldi leaflet.. just tried their website but couldn't see it anywhere... how much was this dvd player please? x

I note from your sig that you must be in the NW.

Manchester Aldi (where Littlewoods used to be in the Arndale) always has the things that sell out in other stores, it seems to get much more stock, and is huge (for an Aldi).

I'd be very surprised if they did not have the DVD player. Don't know if they have local phone numbers on the site to enable checking this out?
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
