Credit Check

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me please with a quetion on a credit check form
I 'm applying for a new job and they do a credit check before they employ someone.
One of the questions is :-
Are you or have you ever been the subject of any civil proceedings, arbitration or Litigation, including proceedings that may lead to a CCJ or other judgement debts, in the UK or elsewhere.?
Now I had some arreas on my mortgage and it got to the point when repossesion was near but I was able to pay them off but the case went to court as I applied to do so too late, I didn't have to attend and so long as I kept up the payments for the next 12 months everything was ok.
This happened in Dec 2005 and payments have been paid on time ever since.
What I wanted to know is which of the above terms applies to my situation and do you think it will go against my credit rating?. Last time I had a look at my situation with the experian site my rating had gone up to good.
Many thanks in advance
