IVA settled and PPI delays

Hello all

I entered an IVA with Varden Nuttall (good experience) and after 3 years (of 5) managed to get an early settlement agreed which I paid on the day of agreement.

So the good news is my IVA contributions have stopped and I am £250 per month better off, not subject to income reviews etc etc. However a condition of the settlement was that should there be any compensation due to me as part of a PPI investigation then any funds would go to creditors. No problem there in principle at all.

However the banks are refusing to cooperate it would seem and so it could be another year before the PPI claim is settled, even though I know I have never bought PPI. Is there anyway of getting this sped up so I can get my certificate of completion and finally be done with the debt nightmare...

And does anybody know of any companies who specialise in helping people like me (now debt free, but not clear of IVA) get a mortgage? I earn £60k per annum and have a £60k to put down as a deposit (part equity, part inheritance (wife's grandma).

Sorry for the long post...
