Can you see another GP in the practice?"Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Yes use your private medical cover, not all jobs come with it, so if you have it use it.
In London there are lots of private GP clinics, I could walk past a few every day. I guess google for your area.
Have you considered changing your GP?0 -
Don't know how to multi-quote but they will only let you see another GP if yours is off. I have asked before and they said no.
I have considered changing but Mr Oops has dissuaded me, becuase we all go to the same one and he reckons it won't make any difference if i change - what does he know lol!
Last time I had my bloods done was end of Oct. I wonder if they still have the figures on the system. Think I might ask tomorrow anyway.0 -

ETA - that's why I am suggesting paying which I know is not very MSE but worth trying to find out.
I can so understand that. I came out of my doctors last week, sat in the car and cried. The feeling of banging my head against a brick wall was just too much.0 -
They should keep your results forever in your medical notes. Ask EXACTLY what tests have been done and EXACTLY what you results are. Take paper and write it all down if they won't print. You can also request to view your own medical notes by appointment. There's no point in paying to have the same tests repeated.
Be aware that all sorts of nutrient deficiencies, imbalances or conditions can give similar symptoms as hypothyroidism, some cannot easily be tested for or are not routinely. I really had to push for a vitamin D test and then push again to get the results, despite have a low-borderline calcium result, it being January and having various symptoms.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
