Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and a guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at the five-star Melia Madeira Mare, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean in Funchal. The hotel's facilities include three pools and the Malio Clinic spa, where you can experience everything from a hammam to flotation tanks. It also has two restaurants, Il Massimo and Mare Nostrum - one dinner for two (excluding drinks) at the latter is included in the prize.
Return flights will be with Monarch, the scheduled leisure airline, which serves Madeira from Birmingham and Gatwick.
The prize must be taken between April 14 and December 14, 2013, excluding public holidays and subject to availability. Flights are subject to extra restrictions.

Do you think they have made in only possible to enter if you are a subscriber now and have to be logged in to enter ....I used to subscribe and entered my email addy and password( to see what would happen) and it said Welcome Back, you need to renew your sub to see this page.0

Oh, thank you for the reply. It's just where they say :
"Return flights will be with Monarch, the scheduled leisure airline, which serves Madeira from Birmingham and Gatwick; from £120.99 return"
That's what gave me the impression you had to pay for the flights.0
