Lloyds Tsb - Interest Charges

Hi, just want to vent a bit of frustration, Lloyds accepted a payment plan and the lady who set it up on 23rd March indicated that all interest charges would be frozen, fab (or so I thought). For the last 2 months I have still been charged interest for my overdraft and the interest on my loan is escalating as the payment they are receiving is one thid of what I should be paying. I was going to write to them but have now had a message left on my home answer phone (I had instructed them contact by mobile only)! asking me to contact them. After speaking to someone they indicated that my interest should now be frozen on overdraft and he will refund the last interest charges which were put through (good news), however, the loan interest would never be frozen!!! So my debt is now accuring by the day (not so good news). In 6 months when they review, it will be passed onto their Debt Collection Department (which I thought had already happened) and they will review the situation. Why do they have such crossed wires, I am still going to write a letter indicating my frustration at being given the completely wrong information and see what happens. thanks for listening!q

I'm in a similar situation - Lloyds TSB credit car services accepted my offer of payment and froze interest - the part of the organisation that deals with loans also accepted my offer of payment but declined to freeze interest.
They "lost" numerous letters and cheques I sent to their Brighton collections department (which is apparently a glorified post room according to lloyds-TSB themselves) - I made an official complaint and was given £100 compensation.
Try writing to Chris Morris, Senior Officer, Customer Services Recovery Centre, Moore House, Black Lion Street, Brighton, BN1 4DA. He dealt with my complaint and appears to be on the proverbial ball!0 -

Totally agree with you b oth me and hubby are being hammered big time by LLOYDS.
We have 2 c/cs,loan,overdraft,and at this rate we will never be able to make any sort of dent.So much interest is being added £90 interest alone for one the account, plus over limit charges. They just won't listen to us about payplan, what can we do .We will pay every penny back to them but over a longer period.I just wish they would listen!
