Help starting own business

Hi one of my hobbies is painting subbuteo teams and designing boxes for them , I'm thinking of selling them because I've been told that they are good-any ideas please.

Last time I looked, Subbuteo teams were available in all sorts of colours - there was a display in a bookshop, of all places, with the teams classified by clubs and colours - how do you plan on competing with the makers themselves?

They have a distribution network already, they have the market presence already, so why would someone buy your hand-painted ones, at presumably a higher price than Subbuteo charge, since you'll have to buy from them first, then charge a markup once you've painted them?
