Feeding two for a week

Hello!
So I'm new here, this is my first thread and I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations, hints or tips for me. Money is tight for me and my OH at the moment and we're trying to budget sensibly.
We don't usually eat breakfast, mostly we grab a fruit smoothie, and lunches are already covered as we both take packed lunches which cost us next to nothing. We shop at Lidl for most items, but I just wondered if anyone had any good tips or recipes for feeding two people for a week. We already eat cheap things liek pasta and rice dishes but some recipes that are a bit different and more interesting would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, guys!

As for money being tight, as well as Lidl, have you given Aldi a try. Good value on their super6 (choice of fresh fruit or veg at cheap price every 2 weeks).
Best of luck.I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0 -
So basically you need to buy food for evening meals, any drinks, snacks or treats.
What's your budget, roughly?
We spend about £50 a week, for 2 adults. That covers breakfast, OH's packed lunches, lots of fruit for snacking, other snacks, treats like chocolate and crisps, diet pepsi and lemonade, tinned stuff like passata, baked beans, kidney beans, 5kg of chicken breasts, sausages, salad, vegetables, bread, ham, cheese, yoghurts.September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250
