Hi guys, not been on here for aaaaggggggeeees.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas for popcorn flavouring (preferably sweet).
Also baked breakfast ideas? I have a Mary Berry recipe for Breakfast muffins so anything like that would be fab. Its for my eldesy son who has been diagnosed with Inattentive ADD and breafast is an essential meal for him as his medication disrupts his appetite. I grate apple into the ones I make now so any hidden fruit would be good too (he is 15 and very definate of what he doesnt like - banana being one of those things)
He struggles with morning so he has cereal but I like to give him something portable to take as he walks to school (I do give him fruit for lunch but doesnt always get eaten)
Thanks in advance for any ideas
Off to have a nose at everything i have missed

Banana cake is very good for hiding bananas! It's the only thing I can think of that you can hide bananas in.
Twinks hobnobs and flapjacks are also good as a portable sweetish things to eat.

when i make banana bread/cake i really mush the bananas as i don't like the taste to be too strong, i also add chopped walnuts whuich add extra depth.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500

How about a smoothie? I can't stand bananas but I'll eat one in a smoothie (two+ usually makes it taste too strongly of bananas though) whizzed up with some greek/natural yoghurt (nice amount of protein) and a big handful of frozen berries. You can also do healthier veggie-based smoothies - google 'green smoothies'. You can also get extra protein in with protein powder, oats, peanut butter, etc. Usually my smoothies are gone in 5 minutes but I'm sure they'd be OK for a few days in the fridge if you made a big batch.Kate.0
