There is a good chance the ribbon cable is already available in comp next to existing drive so would just need power cable if not one spare in comp but if you are unsure you could always just replace existing drive with this.

but if you need diagrams do a google on adding dvd drives. If putting in addition to existing drive note master/slave setting is important.
