Oh dear, well done Wales."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough
"There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women" - Madeleine Albright0 -
Just back from a trip to As where I got my first trouting with an APG (I feel part of the club now
)
APG was only for just over £4 on a £10+ spend so I didn't think anything of it until she started to signal for a supervisor.
Luckily the supervisor just told her as long as the numbers all match up it's absolutely fine to put through.
SA said to me she had to check because the value of it was high (pffffft, I'm sure £4 is low compared to some)
Gutted there was no A8 eggs, only an empty tray so I had to let DH use the APG on beer instead
Wonder if sada are getting a little more picky with accepting apgs?:D:D
Mine came to less than £9 - hope its just the odd store :eek:0 -

CHAMPIONS
That explains why my neighbour and his friends were shouting their heads off a little while ago, well done Wales, didn't know you still had it in you0 -
I had this a few weeks back and my mom had it last night. They cant put points on at the till (obviously green ones can but not regular) but they can none scan money off coupons x
I didn't know that. I quite often take wombled points into my local express to get them added, so just assumed they could all put points on. Learn something new everyday0 -
I like this challenge :j
Then there is the 15p can of mushy peas which is good for food banks collections
I also got this one today, good store cupboard filler or again a good one for food banks
1 x ASDA Smartprice New Potatoes in Water (550g) 15p (sainsbobs14p)
I chuck a can of peas into homemade broccoli soup ( made with value veg stock cubes, a good filler item).
For the tinned potatoes, I've recently perfected a recipe for Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes) which is pretty good. Slice up an onion, fry in a little oil or butter, then add a pinch of salt and a couple of tins of potatoes, sliced. Chuck in either some finely chopped German salami or some smoked bacon and fry a bit more. Seriously scrumptious and goes with all sorts, and the waxy tinned potatoes are ideal.
I love finding new ways to use fillers.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
