What bugs me (just a little :rotfl:) is that T has worked out in their own marketing dept there is little difference in cost overall in giving points or money-off on the wine (Tesco Wines).
Ie it's either 500 points or £5 off £50 etc. They don't care which.
But the points do actually mean more to a lot of us.
I completely ignore money-offs but nearly always go for the points offers.
If they bothered to work out the fact that I buy wine with points offers but ignore wine with money-offs, they'd get more repeat business. :cool:0 -

Well I've been trying to figure out the new Royal Mail prices for parcels with no success apart from giving myself a headache and a nose bleed
so parcels need to fit into a specified cube now, under 8cm deep for small parcels but above this between 9 and 46 cm and its a medium parcel and the price shoots up. How much it goes up I can't figure out as Royal Mail have not updated their postal price system yet.
So ideally my ebay parcels need to be small and flat which they aren't and anything worth more than £20 has to go signed for.
I've had a look at myhermes and this looks OK but I can't see how to get this onto my ebay re listings, how to specify the courier costs. really I want to use Royal Mail for parcels to Europe and Myhermes for Uk parcels.
for the number of things I sell its hardly worth the effort of figuring this all out.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

if you log into your account online you can convert it to a non annual fee one that will still get nectar points (at the current rate of 1 point). I did that a couple of days ago.
They just seem to be doubling the nectar points and charging £25 a year for that
edit:
actually you don't need to go to your account, here's the direct link to choose an alternative card http://www.americanexpress.com/uk/microsite-nceapp/nectar-ip.html (about 2 thirds of the way down the page)
Many thanks Redfox, I'd never thought of looking and would probably just have accepted that it was going to happen:oAwaiting a new sig0 -

Multiply the length x height x width in centimetres and divide the answer by 5,000. The result is the volumetric weight.
Compare that to the kg figure, which ever is larger is your price.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Today's Mr Ts shop - bought 3 x finest meal deals + 3 extra bottles of wine, bavaria, Parioli toms plus a few fillers just in case. Sub-total was £77.61 after multi-buy and 26% wine discounts £44.65 used coupons for bavaria, 2 x Parioli, 3 x finest and £5 HH (none of the finest coupons scanned but were put through manually by SA) Total actually paid £31.65 and got back a £10 PP and another £5 HH.
Can't help feeling I could have done it better as I lost £5.66 by going over on the PP. Still I am saying that we got 6 very nice bottles of wine for £3.60 each and everything else free!
