Hi peeps. I was thinking this morning (dangerous I know) about my last nights DTD dealings with Mr.T. I have come to the conclusion that at least 1 of the so called "customer services" was 1. Trying to intimidate me and 2. Falsifying here "position" within Mr.T and even 3. I don't think she should have even been involved in the conversation at all seeing as her badge pointed to her working for "Tesco Direct". Her desk is about 6 meters away from CS so I think she was just trying to "Gang up" so to speak.
Now for clarity here is my post from yesterday
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=59999373&postcount=9686
The bit I am interested in is this -
Now let me make clear to save you all reading that thread again if you don't wish - I got my DTD after duty manager come along and informed them that I was correct and they were to give me DTD.
I am just thinking that if I were a "little old lady" I may well havye been intimidated by this false "legal eagle" into backing off and paying full price ect. The other point is when Duty manager agreed with me she had a face like thunder and litterally rushed back to her own desk which IMHO is where she should have stayed through out the whole thing.
What do you guys and gals think ? Does she need a little retraining ? Does she need reminding of her actual job title and what that job entails and what it does not cover ?
So in the end do I just leave it seeing as I "won" OR Should I drop an email to head office to point out the error of this Mr.T employee's ways ? I really am 50/50 at the moment. I mean on one hand I won and am perfectly able to defend/stand up to any jumped up Mr.T staff lol. But on the other hand if this had been my misses/sister or the little old lady across the road I am fairly confident that they would have felt intimidated and also may have either 1. Accepted an over charge or 2. Let them cancel the transaction altogether which is obviously not what Mr.T wants as otherwise they would not have DTD.
I want your thoughts people lol.
I think you did well. I see these ca s and they say whatever they like and I know differently like you and all of us on here lol. Think they make up their own rules as they go along. What annoys me is when they call someone else over for back up or for whatever reason then they decide to stay there as well and get involved probably safety in numbers lol. I probably wouldn t bother notifying head office but I may be wrong.:)0 -

Postie left a card this morning saying i had to pay £1-09 before i could have my item because it didn't have enough postage on. I have just been online to pay it and postage was 9p under on postage. The other £1 was an handling charge  Better be worth it when i get the item delivered
If you are near the sorting office, go there to collect. They should show you the envelope and you can decide if it is worth paying to receive it or let them return to sender if it is rubbish.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. patty - no luck for me either:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
BUT
needed to get a thrill so went hunting for beef and got 2 roasts - slow roast and silverside - hilarious - went to cs - young man who called a manager - followed her and she just couldn't understand how they could be wrong- she called the meat supervisor who confirmed the sel price was correct and the meat labels were both wrong - manager then notices one of the sel's is out of date (not one of mine) - asks supervisor why they have not been removed and tells him to remove them all immediately - he protests as some are still in date ( including mine) - she tells him this is soooo confusing - turns to me and apologises and takes me back to cs for dtd :T:T:T
one of the roasts was £8 down to £5 per kg and neither he or the manager knew how to work it out so I got both roasts free :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T 2 weekends meals sorted for free
Didn't notice until I got home that sa had given me a pp as I wasn't expecting one and was concentrating on the dtd. Just checked and it is for
2x COCA COLA DIET COKE 8X330ML - £7.00 † £5.00
Hope this helps someone wanting a pp against sada.:)
I got 2 bm's this morning from Sainsbobs but they were both for a little more than I was expecting. Will post the details later when I can get the receipt entered - I think it has to be after 9pm.Smileand hopefully the world will smile back
