This is fab, these family meals are the ones you remember for years afterwards“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Right, the headlines from tonight's disorganised Morries collection (which is so big the staple has fallen out and the pages are now flapping around everywhere:mad:).
Buy Go Ahead! Strawberry Yogurt Bakes (6) and get paid to take them away! £1.30 from Shopitize against A £1.50 vs M where they are £1.14 until 7/4! I hope this is correct, as Evangeline1971's list (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.co/showpost.php?p=60191489&postcount=5801) says they are "6 x 36g" but MSM has them as "6x35g".
The Fanta 2Ls (and Sprite, Lilt and Dr Pepper 2Ls), as mentioned earlier, are now on £1.98 BOGOF in M. This is excellent (for outside Northern Ireland and on A's current mulitbuy offer) as you need 1 trigger (that doesn't appear on the comparison), which leaves exactly two on the comparison - you'll need to buy 2 different flavours of the two bottles which compare, as that's how the APG now works on BOGOFs. So don't leave two flavours that are the same on the comparison, as that will result in N/A. Buy the one trigger plus one each of the two different varieties that are to appear on the comparison. (3 different in total, two of which - each different - appear on the comparison.)
The Radox shower gels are £1.90 in M, unfortunately.
The Stork 1kg (50p TCB 26/3-28/3) is £2.00 in M (and also £2.00 in T & S). Makes it £1.30 on an A comp. vs any of these for 1kg of margarine.
The Counter Salmon (skin on) is £8.66/kg in M (therefore Tvs M??).
The own-brand toilet gels (750ml) are 60p in M, so that's Tvs A in 2s (A 2 for £1.00) - T Active Toilet Gel Pine, Fresh or Lemon.
The Smarties Funsize Cupcakes (9) are now Avs T as T is 75p (M £1). The Holland Potato & Meat Pies (4) are no longer Tvs A, but now Avs M as M is £2. As indicated earlier, the McVities Taxi/Gold (9pks) are 87p for M. Some of the Oetker products, some showing as 'savvy buys' on MSM, may be better on Avs M (in 2s), especially if there is a multibuy glitch day. Details to appear on the list in due course.
The Carlsberg 20 packs have now gone down to £10 (maximum 3 per customer) - A vs M = £9. Cadbury's Time Out Bars (14) are now £1.50. M Savers Onions (1kg) are 49p and Sada Red Onions (1kg) are 50p (matching M's prev. price but their price has now gone back up) but 1kg of Onions at Lidl are going to be 39p this Sat & Sun.
The Whitworth packets have almost doubled in price at M, so no longer buy. The John West Pink Salmon, however, is £1.34 (213g). Not the cheapest I've seen for tinned salmon which - ignoring S/P - was £1 on the Princes some time ago (and 90p Avs M).:mad: - It turns out A do not have the JW Pink Salmon, only the Red, so we can't get down to about £1.21 - looks like it's T £2.99 vs M instead, but £1.34 a rip-off in my view!:rotfl::rotfl:
The Starbucks Coffee has gone up in price at M, so don't Avs M!
(Or indeed Avs anyone, now it's effectively gone up in price.)
The Linda McCartney Vegetarian Sausages and the 2 Cheese, Leek & Red Onion Plaits have gone down in price, although not enough for my liking.
If looking for an Avs M shop, I'd do the shop tomorrow (to allow the PG site to update) and check it at the weekend.
I've now off to start the M list, hopefully to finish by the end of the night (6am!) as I am now on Easter hols:):j - I always seem to work better in the middle of the night!
(This post seems to be quite organised, but first I've got to re-sort my list away from here, so don't expect it to appear in the next few minutes, probably one or two hours more like. For now, good night:).)0 -
