    Afternoon,

Went AWOL all of a sudden this morning as neighbour popped round for a cuppa :) We ended up completely blitzing my downstairs between the two of us, then she took the boys to hers for an hour whilst I got dinner into the slow cooker and had a shower in peace :D :j Am totally knackered now and know i've done too much :o but at least I can put my feet up in pleasant surroundings (until nap time is over anyway :rotfl:)

Had a routine mamogramme last Monday. Have one each year because of the family history of breast cancer. On Saturday got a letter telling me I had to go for another appointment yesterday.

Eldest daughter came with me. Had a mamogramme, scan and 5 biopsies taken, get results tomorrow afternoon.

Can't conplain about the treatment i recieved at Nottingham Breast Institute. They were very quick and thorough! Just want time to go quick now so tomorrow afternoon comes around quick.

Need a good glitch to keep my mind occupied!

Please keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Everything crossed for you rolo-polo :A Hoping to hear some good news from you tomorrow

Hmmm, just looking through my TCB payments and compating them to my steps. I have steps to Amex, and am 98% sure I signed up through them, and was going to put a ticket in. I then noticed this ..'Any cashback claims that are deemed to be non-genuine, fraudulent, or as a result of the abuse of an offer will result in immediate account termination.'..... Think I will just forget about putting in the ticket, on the of chance that I had clicked off TCB and went back later to sign up for the Amex. Darn!!
Well DM i have not read the terms and conditions but I was thinking not to do too much all at once because I thought they might have a get out clause somewhere once they realised someone was literally just looking for cashback profit.
That is another reason I cashed out £85 ish the other day.

Limit the risks and try and stay under the radar ;)

I know there were a few of us looking for cheap cheese ( to go with the wine) and this morning I bought some of the Seriously Strong Cheddar from the deli counter in Tosco that is half price at £5 kg at the moment. I wasn't expecting a PP on it, jut wanted to bump up my spend to use a £5 off £40 voucher. However, on checking my PP it seems that it has compared against Sada at what looks like £3.99 kg, which is pretty cheap for any cheddar at the moment, but great if you like the Seriously Strong.

1x SERIOUSLY STRONG CHEDDAR WHITE 1.276kg
    £6.38 £5.10

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!

Tried searching but not found the answer.

The PP vouchers, can they be used on a subsequent shop the same day please? I'm sure I did this last week when splitting shops to use the helping hand vouchers but I didn't pay attention to the dates. The one I've had today says to be used from tomorrow's date. I'm contemplating another wine run so would be grateful if anyone could confirm if I can use it today. Thanks folks!

I've been using them today :o:D.

There's something to be said for your eyes going, then.

EDIT I've just checked one I didn't use, and you're right! :rotfl: Now I think about it, one of them did have to be input manually :o
    Hope is not a strategy.

Just back from T the finest Argie Malbec worked, but the finest vouchers wouldn't scan. Sale was suspended and I had to go to CS. Vouchers were put through as non scan and I was given cash back. It is still £5.99 so the PP wasn't capped at £10 but it was still quiet a good saving, considering my Hubby drinks it like Ribena!
