  • Had a routine mamogramme last Monday. Have one each year because of the family history of breast cancer. On Saturday got a letter telling me I had to go for another appointment yesterday.

Eldest daughter came with me. Had a mamogramme, scan and 5 biopsies taken, get results tomorrow afternoon.

Can't conplain about the treatment i recieved at Nottingham Breast Institute. They were very quick and thorough! Just want time to go quick now so tomorrow afternoon comes around quick.

Need a good glitch to keep my mind occupied!

Please keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Am I right in thinking you can use more than one Helping Hand voucher at a time? My daughters friend who is a line manager at Tesco says she believe you can .Anyone tried?

no it will only let you use 1 in a 40.00 shop 2 in a 80.00 shop
  • Methinks I need to womble some helping hands this lunchtime

They won't be valid till next week though. Although I will test to see if next weeks scan this week.

    Morning all :)

Does it never work on 342 or 241? I remember reading one of Savvys posts saying that you have to get different items, not all the same item for it to work. I'm not sure though if that was referring to this type of offer or something different, can't quite remember

    Morning.

    A have goodfella's deep pan @ 3 for £4.50.

    M have them @ £1.37 each.

If you buy 2 @ A it costs £4 and compares against M for £2.74 giving apg of £1.53

If you buy the 3 for £4.50 deal it still compares to M for £4.11 giving apg of 80p.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

  • Does anyone know if I go for the meal deal, do any of the items compare to A, apart from the wine, am I free to get any other meal deal items without it affecting my PP on the wine.
Have we had any confirmation today that 25% comes off the £6.99 when doing a meal deal, and that the Montepulciano compares to A today giving a £1.99 PP. Thanks

Hugs to you xxx How worrying for you :(

I hope your tests come back clear. Thankfully you aren't having too long a wait. Although I suppose it doesn't feel that way for you. It does go to show though how invaluable these screening programmes are for picking up potential problems and dealing with them quickly.

Hope today goes quickly for you xx
