Any Tesco with a large Passover range will want to be getting rid of stock. So we should see price reductions now. Passover finishes next Tuesday (2 April) so I would expect even bigger reductions next week.

Look out for them merging the Passover range back in to the World Foods kosher section; so that may be a good place to look.

If you are seeking bargains on everyday items, 100g Nescafe, 80 tesco own brand tea bags, tesco long life orange and apple juice are a good place to start. In previous years they have reduced the price heavily and put them adjacent to the regular stocks.

So if mini bottles double discount and we can get 4 bottles for under £2.50 that would be good enough ???? :D
Even better if they. We're finest mini bottles!

The more expensive ones work out the best deal. The ones that are £2.29? They work out at about 90 odd pence a bottle. I don't drink little bottles :D but my OH did have a couple the other night. 2 of them was enough for him.....cheap date :D:rotfl:

A little tip for anyone who likes a really nice gutsy New World Chardonnay...

Mr T has recently reduced his Simply Chardonnay RESERVE (Australian) to £3.99 a bottle from£4.99. Traditionally, the far more ordinary (Californian) Simply Chardonnay has been £3.99 and the Reserve Chardonnay has been £4.99 (and well worth the extra pound). At the moment they are priced the other way round.

So with 25% off, and the extra 12.5% afforded by a £5 helping hand voucher, that comes in at around £2.62 a bottle. That's Calais prices without the travel and costs for a really nice wine - IF you like that sort of thing. It's also very nice IMHO with chilled soda water added.

I shall be out and about bright and early. :D
    Hope is not a strategy.

Did you manage to get something cheap online?

Not as cheap as I would have liked, but about £2.75 a bottle is bearable. Got 4 cases as stocks are none-existent. Opened a bottle of Garland Crest, which must have been off the last Tesco 25% off offer (or more probably the one before). Shows how near the bottom of the lake I am !

Can't see any Finest varities unfortunately :(http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A30382998

and costs would work out as per Neosi's calculations below so not quite 4 for £2.50

    2 for £3 Wine - Small Bottles

    6 x £1.69 Bottles - 25% = £2.535 - Cost £6.45
    6 x £1.88 Bottles - 25% = £2.82 - Cost £6.18
    6 x £1.98 Bottles - 25% = £2.97 - Cost £6.03
    6 x £1.99 Bottles - 25% = £2.985 - Cost £6.01
    6 x £2.29 Bottles - 25% = £3.435 - Cost £5.56
    6 x £2.39 Bottles - 25% = £3.585 - Cost £5.41
    6 x £2.54 Bottles - 25% = £3.81 - Cost £5.19

If you have a HH voucher could help make up the value though :)
