Hello all, just a flying visit as I'm crackered and off to bed!

APG results from earlier, fillers removed....

Bit worried about this one as it's £16.** (lack of proper planning on my part!) and due to the irn bru refund she's scribbled on the receipt, what does that mean? Will I still be able to redeem the APG?

  • This method has been around for centuries but the logic is worth considering:

Hawk- the Latest Technique for Winning at Roulette

As always, the gambling community is buzzing with the latest techniques to beat the house...all gamblers know that the chances of winning most casino games is a matter of luck...or is it?
The most recent trend to hit the casino has been created by a group named only as the Hawks, they are a group of people who are trained mathematicians and who have come up with, what they are claiming, as a winning system for the roulette wheel.
The method works only with the European roulette wheel, it consists of wagering firstly on black and then on red, in a consecutive manner. To begin with you place a £1 bet on the red and then keep increasing the amount of the wager until you manage a win, at which point you begin wagering on black and repeat the process, starting with £1 and doubling your bet each time. According to the Hawk group, the probabilities will ensure that you always win. Whether this actually proves to be the case is a matter that you have to work out yourself!
You need to be careful when using this method in a casino setting, if you are caught using any kind of method you are likely to be removed from the premises. Because the way you play will appear to be unusual, you will probably arouse suspicion if you choose to use it for too long at a time.
The Hawk group have made the recommendation that you should only bet in small amounts, and that as soon as you hit around a £500 profit you should quit while you are ahead. You might also like to try changing the venue where you use the technique relatively frequently to further avoid arousing suspicion.
The great thing about this method is its ease of use, you don't have to be a genius to make it work. But you must always bear in mind that on the European Roulette wheels there are a 0 and a 00 and this will knock the statistics slightly out of sync.
The Hawk technique is rather similar to the Martingale technique, which you can read about elsewhere on this site.
Our verdict regarding this new technique is to try it and see, you will probably find that it is not as rewarding as it may sound. Although in the realms of probability, theoretically it will work, unfortunately in real life, things are not often as predictable as they appear in theory. Some facts from the casino world to argue against this method are; black has been registered as coming up 19 times in a row in a Las Vegas casino, and it has even been registered that the number 9 has once come up 5 times in a row, this beats the odds by a phenomenal amount! So try this method with an open mind, but try and be cautious too.
