Morning logie, I know the feeling, late nights early mornings are a pita. You need to snuggle on the sofa with your little one today.

That is the plan :D Might even sneak in a nap if I can later when my Home Start lady comes over ;)

At least the pain that was keeping me awake has settled for now :)

Good Morning everyone another cold day here but no more snow just all what we ve had.

Fairclaire we are with Bt and I could get it cheaper but we ve been with them right from the start. It's our indulgence I guess as I ve found them to be ok really. Any problems we ve had have been sorted reasonably well. I don't fancy the hassle of changing my email address either.:)

That's what we did a couple of winters ago. I'd just got the hang of the travelogue sales and I managed to book a weekend away in the city where our eldest lives, January, February and March. At that time you could get Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights for £9, £12 or £18 - much cheaper than now, Saturdays never cheap now. Youngest son was in charge of house and cats and we used our train passes so we went up on the train, so much more relaxing than having to drive across the penines. Cheap as chip weekends it kept us motivated and active over the winter - always another weekend to get ready for.

Then over the next winter eldest child finished uni, changed jobs a few times, got a new flat and a steady boyfriend and it just got impossible to organise any weekends. We had one night away in January and that ŵas it. By the time we did our 1st long weekend over the may bank holiday weekend we were climbing the walls

The same is happening this year and worse because of the weather.

I even had a look at the last minite deals last night and I've got one trip in my sights, 3 weeks away, just keeping an eye on the price now and hoping that it drops a bit ......

    I think that's exactly it ;)

I perhaps would have felt less inclined to do it if we'd have got away for our cheapo night away in a Travelodge last weekend but the sicky bug had other plans

Finally got some seeds planted on the windowsill so feel slightly better that garden may look half decent in a few months :D Keep looking for good deals on Thompson and Morgan to use my voucher on but nothing jumping out at me. One of them expires tomorrow so i'll have to make a decision soon :p

We usually have a little break or two planned so we have something to look forward to, but not really worth booking anything else at the moment until I know what's going on with my treatment. Will be the end of April at least before my next scan and then they'll have to decide what comes next. Have lots of things I'd like to do but all up the the air until we know what's going on.

    Good morning to everyone :)

Waiting to see if DS2's school is open today, or if he can have the day at home with his big brother.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Good morning.

Did anyone else do the NowTV free trial for £12 Cashback (currently £10)?

I did but decided not to continue after my free month - to stop it, go into My Account then Manage My Account and change Auto Renew to no. Since then I received confirmation that Auto Renew had been switched off by email ... closely followed by another email offering me a £20 voucher to stay, then the following day another email offering a £20 voucher :). As their retention system is keen to keep me and chasing me, it seems rude not to stay for another month at £8.99 ... ;).

Even if you were planning to stay on after the free trial, it may be worth changing Auto Renew to No to see what happens as they will likely want you to stay too.
