I'm sure someone on here has the answer to my question!
What is Mr T's policy on refunding on faulty electricals?
My OH bought a camera last night, and was fiddling with it this morning when the screen froze, and no buttons would work. He had to take the battery out and put it back to get it on track again. So we took it back to the store, and explained what had happened. The guy said because he couldn't see the fault and it looked like it was fine he couldn't do anything, no refund. Then he said have you just changed your mind? because if you'd just changed your mind I could do something, we said no! it is faulty and want our money back! ( at first we said yes, as thought he was trying to help us, but he was just asking if we were lying about it!)
So we went to customer services, and got the manager, who said he had done the right thing, and that he would refund us this time, but really it was our problem to deal with and we would've had to contact the brand of camera (vivitar)! to sort it out!
Well, we got the refund, but can't believe the hassle, and the fact he thought we were lying just to return it!
Really narked
Has any one else had experience of this?
Thank you
However I personally would not touch a Vivitar with a 10 foot barge-pole tied to another 10 foot barge-pole.0 -
