Are there any wine experts about please? just wanted an opinion of my latest finds.

In my local Sada I was hanging around the reduced stand, no real deals and then an assistant came along and brought 6 bottles of reduced wine. So after a bit of a dither They went in my trolley - I thought about paying for them with an egg APG but didn't incase there was a problem at the till ;)

La Moneda Reserva Sau Blanc 2012 -was £7 now £3.50 Chile
Le Hameau Sau Blanc 2012 was £8.75 now £3.89 France

I've checked mys and both are still stocked, one is actually marked new so they are not bin ends.

So just over £22 for 6 bottles but as they had red reduced labels I didn't get the 5% discount - not sure if that's right?

Yes I know a wine festival is imminent and we have finest vouchers but it still seemed a good deal and so far the wine festival is just a rumour and nothing looks like a good potential for glitching. Not bought any wines apart from odd bottles with meal deals since last year

If you read the print page it says if our store don't have them in go to CS ask for alternative!

They would probably just look me and think I was making it up. No one knows anything in my Tesco s but I will try next time I'm there. Thanks

Well. I never thought I'd hear myself say this- I'm bored!

My cat is asleep on my bed so can't change my bedding yet. Need to go to Asda but doing that later so I avoid the muppets who are very clearly put on this earth to annoy me!

Not interested in bingo and there is naff all on TV

Well, DH made lunch and has been asleep on the other end of the sofa since :(
Don't think he has any idea that I clock watch from the minute he goes to work waiting for him to get home. If it weren't for some conversation with you guys on here I think I would go mental with only the little ones to talk to. So thank you all :A

Have amused myself over the last little while by having a go at the PaddyPower bingo. Played through deposit and bonus and withdrew £25. Plus TCB pending already aswell so fingers crossed that all goes through smoothly too :)

Glad to be here logie, keeping you company ;) xx

Have a look at mys and have a look at the wine list to see if any finest wines on multibuys might work nicely in the wine festival.
Go and check the printables thread to see if there is anything you've missed printing off.
Re arrange your stashes and check the expiry dates.
See what you have in the cupboard to make a cake with, then take photos to use in a photo comp later on. Then slice the cake up small enough to go into lunch boxes and cling film and freeze so you don't eat it all.
That was my Wednesday afternoon - I was still fed up and annoyed afterwards but at least I'd done something productive :D

    It's T who do 5% discount on 6 bottles, not A's. HTH

Can anyone please explain what might count as a glitch in the wine festival?

Is it something along the lines of this made up offer...
    offer - 6.99 or 2 for £10,
    25% comes off of 13.98
pay 6.50 for 2 (but finding an offer where you pay less than 3.25 a bottle hopefully :D)

edit - and less the £2 off if finest wines :o

    Tesco biccie alert!!

    Lotus Original Caramelised Biscuits 250G

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=259874271

was 99p. now half-price 49p (until 9th april). but only 29p with coupon.

    :):):)
The coupon is for 350g which are only available in Asda. Plus that coupon looks well dodgy! If you inspect the section with the valid to date, even though I can see it came from the supplier.
