Thanks for this but on calling the 0845 60 55 999 I eventually got through after being redirected a couple of times to use this number
    0845 3000 168 and I should receive in 6-10 days :)

Thanks for that, I'll remember to update the number if I get asked to repeat the post ever!

Just a thought: you can actually phone to find out about missing pension contribution years, find out about how much you need to pay to get them credited to your pensions record and then send off a cheque the same day.

Which gets cashed 4-5 days later.

With the end of the tax year looming, you might be well-advised to do this ie to get your payment in quick as:

    1. It's almost certain to go up significantly on 6th April
    2. 2006/7 drops off & you won't be able to buy this year afterwards (it's also the cheapest @ £390).

Glad I didn't go to one of the big shopping centres as Belfast has just gone Totally Dark, full scale Blackout for about 15 mins.

Up here in the north we have power back but looking down on the city others dont look as lucky.

Alarms going off everywhere, just waiting on the Zombies to Attack now, we're armed with tins of 5Beans. :D
I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony  :j :D:)
  • Anybody tried Morethan travel insurance (single trip UK 1 day) a 3rd time yet and got it to work?

Confirmed: can use it 2x but not 3x on the same day.

I'm thinking that logically you should be able to dip into this several times a year, after all it's single day travel insurance and there are 365 days in a year.

Unless somebody confirms 3rd/4th works after a few days gap, I'll give it a go early next week.

I've just done the egg thing and then thought I'd try for another but only 2 eggs on the second go - is that right?

    Hey all

Going to try and read back hope you all been having fun. Its so cold up here and my office even colder !!

Update on yesterday. received even odder email last night from estranged colleague saying that since i had not responded she was no longer my friend and some other bizarre ravings. (sounded slightly drunk actually)

I mailed her back saying she had confused me beyond belief and that words had failed me.

End of the road for that one. I worry though cause she is sounding really messed up

    Isnt life Bizarre ???

    Love to all

Right, I am back in the right thread now as I posted this "next door" while at Ts and wondered why I was still the last post ;).

Ts DTD opportunity on Stuuffed Pork Shoulder with Sage and Onion Stuufing, plastic box, £7.99 on offer £3.99kg.

Leg of Lamb/Half Leg £10.99 on offer £4.

Tesco Finest Unsmoked Gammon Cured Joint £9.99 on offer £4.99.

All effectively free or paid to take away if in stock - Lamb they may quibble as cheap is New Zealand rather than British but SEL doesn't differentiate.

Just picked up pork to add to my free beef in the freezer ;).

Put my head outside the door and decided "no way" - I thought there would be tracks on the road to drive but no. The thought of crashing at this time of the night
