Good morning everyone. A few snow flurries this morning, sick of this cold weather now, where is spring.
I have suffered from IBS for a long time and had a rough year with it last year. I did lots of googling and came across an article that mentioned a product called Symprove. It is a probiotic liquid and it has been proven beneficial to many sufferers. Anyway, after all else has failed I sceptically gave it a go. It is recommended that you take it for 4 weeks minimum. I was convinced it was just a ruse to get more money out of people but after taking it for approx 6 weeks I am happy to say that apart from a couple of small flare ups I am much better. Hope it helps somebody but check with GP first - esp in the case of children.

Thankyou will mention this to docs, when we next go. My DS is suffering with it, its horrible, as he needs to know that he has a toilet close by all the time and not always possible.

Found some of the beef yesterday with £10kg marked instead of £5 thought happy days, free beef and bought 2.

Got the trouting of my life lol at cs and dtd was never even mentioned.

Was told it was only silverside, though my beef was clearly marked as such.
Was told I must have taken it from a different section and was called a liar from the cs woman when I said no I took it from the same display as those marked half price.
She then went to have another look and magically appears with an sel saying £10kg and told me she removed it from the same display (lies)
Said the meat was from another supplier despite the identical packaging.

All this and dtd was never mentioned.

I phoned HO to complain about the attitude and they sided with the store.

I really cannot understand what gets into cs staff, between the lies, arguing and downright cheek, I left in shock.

And throughout it all, she thought all I wanted was to pay half price for the joints I had selected. She tried to get me to do a direct swop for topside, when I pointed out, I had bought silverside, she said they were the same thing.

For the NI team this was B/gomartin.

why can life be so cruel sometimes?
I hope all goes well for your dad. I'm afraid life isn't cruel, it's just life, and with that, a miriad of things may or may not happen. Some people just seem to have more things they consider negative happen to them - I guess that's statistics for you. Hopefully your Dad is a fighter and beats the disease. :A

Evening everyone:)Just a quickie as not sure if this has been posted but just been to T's and got a PP back for chicken. Its comparing against S's.They are 3 for £10 in T's but its not seeing the multibuy so you get back £2.So £8 for 3 chickens. Not brilliant but better than paying full price if you can't whoopsie them :)
Buck buck bukkkkkkkkkkack - thanks, Lala. Will get 6 off these for the freezer :D

    Doesn't everything? t0308.gif

Bloodynose, BooBoo, FunkyFeet,David artha et al - can I just say what a pleasure it was to see people debating a point last night with no mallice shown to each other and respect for one and another's opinion. It really does make a change in this day to see such an admirable tussle! (PS, I'm not descriptively praising you - oh, OK, I am!) :rotfl:
Bavaria 4 bottle pack of the 2.8% now £2 at S. MOC for £1.50 valid till 30 April
    offer on till 9 April
I think I only got around 30 packs of this last time and I've still got about 25 packs left  It's nto that I dislike it, it's just I prefer Vodka! :o

    Morning all,
Quick catch up before my Mum arrives to babysit. Chemo again this morning, last one of cycle 5/6 :j The little light at the end of the tunnel is definately getting brighter :D
Good luck at the Chemical mixers lab today. Logie! Hope it all goes well for you :D

Mrs Moc - Sometimes I think we all just have to play the game. I agree it's not right, but all we'll do, if we all complain, as has been said time and time again, is raise profiles and mean policies change. The trouts on CS are trained not to give DTD> I have this from the horse's mouth (excuse the pun) and head office can be as random as the lottery. Sometimes we win, sometimes they do - we just have to keep playing. After all, we never actually lose as we simply return the meat packaging saying it was off, don't we? ;););)

Have a great day, everyone. I've lost of grinding to do today! :A
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Mrs Moc You'd be surprised how 'well known' customers can be to staff and they have long memories. Sometimes they even get you mixed up with someone else though ! It can be what's behind their 'attitude' a lot of the time.

Thats why DTD is not really for me unless totally genuine - our CS staff have been there for years and are OKish but I'm not comfortable spinning yarns to the extent required to people who ask how old my babies are now and how is my FIL IYSWIM

I wasn't anticipating any problem but I'll be making sure I don't get stung. Had a look at some other mag sites that do trials but noted in the small print of one that they withhold the CB for 3 months to make sure you don't cancel.
Not getting my money  they can keep the cb if thats the case :D

Just spoke to Viking as only 1000 points showing from nectar offer. She said they had a lot of interest and there is a backlog so there may be a delay of up to 30 days.
