The lovely little children denied having said video footage although one lad let it slip later that he had been asked about it by the school counsellor, he showed him it and was advised to delete it off his phone before the police got involved. The looks he got from the others said it all.
We went over the implications of taking such footage and sending it to people, about how much trouble they could be in if either parent decides to take matters further. They already told us that the schools had become involved because of the video being passed about (yes the video that didn't exist according to them!)
They drew up a contract, then we got reward trip ideas from them and explained that they'd be watched for the next few weeks and a trip would be organised if they were abiding by the rules but if anything happened on, before or after the trip there would be consequences that would affect the group as a whole.
They need to learn to take responsibility for their own actions and how what they do will affect others.
We have funding that needs to be used up so we can get the same amount next year so we'd organised some pretty expensive trips for them but they all got canceled.:(
But this really bugs me why do the people in power say if you dont spend it we will give you less next year :eek:
This is not about you, sil works in the council and a few months before the end of the financial year they are throwing money at anything flowers on roundabouts etc just so they get the same amount next year :eek:
Why dont the people in power say thats your budget if you dont spend it keep 50% of your savings and your budget will be the same initial amount next year.When The Fun Stops Stop0 -

I saw a PCSO manhandling a young boy today, he was maybe 14. I drove past my local park, then once more, this time he held the boy up against the wall. He was holding him against it but as I didn't see him strike him, I just parked up and watched. He then clipped the boy and and whacked his cap off...at which point I knew I had to intervene!
Gosh, this was a PCSO! :eek::eek:FunkyFeet:eek:Elite 5:2 #190
