Hey I hope you slept well SD. Playing by the rules aint so bad you dont have to worry about old misdemeanors catching up with you.

You need to concentrate on you for now otherwise you are going to drive yourself nuts !

The Dog really has to move on, its better for him and you. He needs more space than you can give him and you need less to worry about and deal with.

Its not selfish or cruel. Quite the opposite. Believe me you are very much loved here and I know it sounds daft a load of virtual strangers. But we are people you can trust and talk to. PM anyone if you feel you dont want it public. We all came on here looking for something. Initially money saving but that is usually because we are struggling in RL. And its not all about money.

What we found on the whole is friendship.

You are my friend and I think of you often xxxx:Axxxx

Thoughts are with you SD - tough while you are going through it but you WILL come out the other side. Loads of people here for you and all routing for you cheering you on.
The ties of friendship on here are absolutely amazing.............

Hugs to all that need em

Glad that your brothers' fundraiser was successful:T:T:T:T:T

Very good use of the Vinnies and MT's. You can be absolutely sure that an :A was looking down on you and if I'm not mistaken, was a very proud Auntie.:)

Ah, Silverstone, one of my favourite haunts. Thank you :j Loving the shot of a thoughtful Webber. Always something a bit special about looking into the eyes of a racing driver for me.

Thank you to tweets for sending me in your direction :D

Well done to your brother for his fundraising. 4k is an excellent achievement :)

Can you explain how this works please ? I have my £5 off voucher and all my stickers ready to buy the cast iron pot.....how do you work it so that they are paying you then ? Thanks

I bought a few legs of the lamb that are on offer at £4 per kg. Unfortunately they were wrongly priced ones at £10.99 per kg. So with dtd and the £5 coupon, I was still a few pounds better off then when I went into the shop.

    Hi Nanny :kisses3:

think hes gonna double the target now :T, his training is going well too, either a 20 or 13 mile run once a week and a couple of 6 mile runs thrown in..

You could join him in his training i.e. a quick jog (and I mean carless!) down to A's then to T's and back home. :)

Good to see you back posting.

    Dear SD,
I don't post here very often as I don't feel like I have a lot to say. I am new and don't have a lot to contribute but I am around most of the time and have read all your posts. I didn't feel like I could read and not respond to this one. I really, really feel for you. What you are coping with from The Beast would have tipped me over the edge ages ago. You really must be a saint. You are doing the absolute best thing by finding him a loving home. As far as those animal rescue people are concerned please try to remember what it says in someone's signature (sorry forgotten who!) but I think it's a great mantra to hold on to, it's along the lines of 'remember opinions are not facts, listen to them but then move on'. They don't know you and your situation. You must do what is best for you and ultimately for The Beast. I think your son must be very proud of you and your strength. Even if he is too young now to see it, he definitely will look back when he is older and marvel at the way you are dealing with things. I hope you don't feel that I am intruding. I just wanted you to know that even though we don't know each other, I am thinking of you and actually you are an inspiration. Please don't stay away. I have seen that there are other people on here who care about you very much and your posts may just help other people to know that they are not alone in their problems and maybe help them to cope better with what they are going through. I know that sometimes other people's problems can help me to put mine in perspective a bit. Thank you for sharing with us and please know that you have certainly helped me. I will go back into (mostly) lurkdom now but hope to contribute more when I am able.
    Love and hugs xxx

What an excellent post, mummyvb. Please contribute more often.
    Hope is not a strategy.
