I had the same issue last week - Topside vac pack can be Irish or British, SEL doesn't differentiate in words but does show different barcodes, still think they were trying it on but then again so was I ;).

I know the advice given on here was to contact HO but I haven't yet as technically I haven't lost anything so think it is perhaps best to keep a low profile for now?

I have had the same senerio a couple of times, where they say I have picked the wrong meat up, I always ask them to show me where the sel and product is that is full price so we can compare them.

Of course we both know there isn't another product, the other 1 I get it that it's only stickered products, again where do it say that.

    Good luck

    Thanks aau1 :)

I found another shelf after a bit of a wander round which did have the SEL...but there was only 1 leg of lamb on there, and i wasn't feeling brave or cheeky enough to blag it! I might try the extra store tomoro...i expect their shelves will be a bit messier so it should be a doddle. I hope so anyway, lamb is my absolute favorite meat. *drools*

Made up for the lamb with the cathedral city cheese, which i'm rather pleased about coz i'm a cheese addict! £6.99 in T's, + 9 lots of 10/12p sweets = £2.99 PP voucher, and i've just uploaded my receipt to TCB. It's the first time i've done a targeted shop like that...i've tried to keep up with some of you on here in the past and just found it impossible...it's like you're all maths whizzkids or something! :rotfl: Never was my strong point, but i'm learning!

Anyways, my voucher went towards the rest of my shopping...noticed that it wasn't valid until tomoro AFTER i scanned it, but the young lad watching over the SS tills didn't notice and zapped it through...phew! And i had lots of nice sweeties for the pictures this evening...free ticket via SFF, so not a bad day all in all!

Thanks to all that post deals up, superstars you are!

Im going to get some Pyrex. My Oh really wants that cast iron pot. Are the pyroflam ones any good? Im an eater rather than a cooker so I don't really know much about pots:rotfl::rotfl:

For anyone who is interested, the cast iron pot is the only one that I've seen that's good for an induction hob. So treated myself when I bought some lamb.:D Alongside the £5 off voucher, I ended up being paid to take the pot away.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
