Yep unfortunately DTD often includes a confrontation with a right old trout lol

You have to stand your ground and possibly laugh off trouty's refusal

Then just get money back from central

Put claim in if you want it will stay on ice for certain amount of time then you can submit it, I do this all time as would forget to do it after so many days and prob could not remember all the details.....

your welcome:D i do know how you feel it is so hard to argue the point with out making a scene, i got 2 the other day and had the same fear of being stuck with £45 of beef that i would never have brought but i was lucky and she just gave me dtd with out me saying anything:T

I've done 12 over 4 different accounts. Only the first 4 have tracked:( Looks like a few missing cashback claims going in as email order confirmations have been received for all 12

I take my refund and walk out, I call H/O they said they can't do a lot because I didn't have the meat, she contacted the store and came back with a £10 gift card which I've accepted.
But can I ask did I get the right beef as I started to think I got the wrong ones because they said the barcodes were wrong but I'm sure Ive read on here somewhere where the barcodes change at the end.

You were correct. The last digits (but one) on the bc are the price of the pack.

You should have got dtd.

Ive done the DTD before and never had a problem, the store I visited has only been open since just before xmas, so I think they were trying to fob me off.

I am looking forward to a new store they have built by where I work, should be open in the summer, so I'll be hot footing it there when the glitches / dtd hit! lol
