Eg complete shtferbrains hapless twonker emailed me this: how should I respond lol?

'I consider your involvement with the committee of the club to be unhelpful; I invite you to resign. If you feel unable to do so, I shall argue against your re-election after your [automatic] retirement at the AGM in June'

This for a club where I am a fundraiser with some good ideas coming up raising £1000 plus I raised £2000 last year - idiot just doesn't like me.

Don't like to see my kids disadvantaged by this hopeless unliked guy with some very bad ideas and no personality who happens to be influential through history and scheming which is why I will stay.

    Any ideas?

I respectfully decline to resign. I believe that we should put any personal differences aside and look to the future of the club. I believe my involvement with the committee to be beneficial to the club and that I am a key member in regards to fund raising. I hope we can work well together in the future.

My OH has just produced a rec from the 15th with 7 £5 eggs on - yes someone with no common sense as they also bought 14 £1 eggs
    Total spend was £40

Sadly not enough items and no trigger eggs

A camel is a horse designed by a committee :D

Strangely something similar happened to me a few years ago & this afternoon I was sorting out & found all the copies of the minutes, the fundraising etc, I felt it time to shred them sadly could not do the same to certain people BUT I would suggest you put your talents to a cause with a committee who will value your participation. It will eat you up if you stay

I'm relatively new to TCB but both DW and I have had Quidco accounts for years both paying out into one bank account and it has never been a problem.

As for TCB a second bank account might be useful but I'm not convinced that its needed. However I can't say 100% from experience. I've got a number of TCB accounts using the 9 email addresses I have available on Virgin Media but use the CB as amazon vouchers so no bank account involved. Haven't actually used any yet but that's the theory (going to use free CB to buy something very big on Amazon).

I tried to get hubbys paid into my bank account and it wouldn't let me, it said that bank account was already registered to another tcb account , so I got CC points instead.
I am not letting him have it , not after doing all the work. :rotfl:
