How to respond to Bank of Ireland

Since Bank of Ireland has decided to treat its UK customers with utter distain in increasing their variable rate to loyal customers I suggest a mass response and boycott of all Bank of Ireland products.
This is easy as all Bank of Ireland products ( mortgages, savings and credit cards) are sold under the Post Office brand.
So
1. Don't buy these products
2. Get rid of your existing products if you have them
3. Email your MP to ask why a government institution is linked to a public ally owned institution
4. Email Vincent Cable on the same matter
Worth a try
