RTB Council Property (santander)

In the process of purchasing the council property. On the application we put down my parents and my brother as tenants wishing to purchase the property.
Now that we got the offer letter, we went to see a broker and found a deal. However out the 3 tenants only 2 are working. The broker has checked with the local Santander branch manager, and the mortgage will not be accepted with three names as we have opted for interest only.
The only way to proceed further was to get the council to amend the names from three to two names. We have instructed the council to amend the names four weeks ago and still no news.
If anyone had experience in this area please can you let me know.

Can't see any other option than to contact the RTB unit at the Council and ask them what's happening.
Had the RTB1 already been submitted? Did you have the S125 offer?I am a mortgage broker. Yes application was submitted and an offer was received.
Four weeks ago we submitted letter to get names adjusted, they keep telling us they are busy and they have to take their annual holidays as they are coming to end of financial year.
They can't tell me when it will be done and I'm getting tired of waiting.0 -
I doubt you'll see much happen before Easter.
Resign yourself to this being the case, and if it happens sooner then it's a nice surprise.0 -

Go and see your local councillor at his surgery and ask him to query it for you. Most councillors sit on various committes and they have clout and are influential.
Worth a try0
