Goldfish Bowls

Hiya

Does anyone know the best place to offer 11 large goldfish bowls. We used them for our table decorations at our reception.

I don't really want to make money from them but it seems crazy to just get rid. And I don't want to have to post them anywhere

Could you not list them on ebay? You could list it as having 11 but people can then buy one or more if they liked?

I know you don't want to post them but you could factor in the post and packaging costs into your price? The only inconvenience is going to the post office every time you sell one I guess

How about forums on other (:eek:) websites - like wedding ones? You could say it is collection only. I got a couple of bridesmaid dresses through a forum on Hitched.

I also saw at a wedding fair that there was a new website being launched, I think it was called something old, something new (sosn, will probably be found on google) that were trying to offer this sort of service - might be worth a look?

You could always put a card in your local florists window advertising them....im sure that local brides who go to arrange their flowers there might be interested in them for centrepiece decorations too.

My cousin bought her fishbowls through someone that as selling on a local buy swap sell page on Facebook. If there is a page like that for your area it might be worth selling them through that and letting folk know they have to pick up.
