It also concerns me that the offer of stock+£1 is not a viable level of profit. If I sell a good wine kit that should make me a nett £20 profit at a price that makes me £1.00 nett profit I have got to do!more that 20 times the work (and overheads etc) to simply stand still. My feeling is that they want to drive all of the other local and online homebrew shops out of busines so that they own the industry (like Amazon are doing with book shops). Then watch what happens to prices!! We will have nowhere else to go !!
Hi Dr Paul,
Reading that post you made in Feb 2012 it sounds as if you sell Home Brew stuff yourself. Why would you be using and recommending another site to us ?

And concerned that Wilkos will put the specialists out of trade. Also other discounters seem to have a large monopoly, so it is nice to see another one entering the hobby - the more the better. If my local shop is going to die then I want a good range of alternatives.0

No worries Sailor Sam. we all have to keep our eyes open and react when we see something we are not happy with. I cross posted because I thought this thread was probably dead, but wanted money savers to get a heads up.
I may repost it when I have had a few more happy experiences. The postage prices do suck a little, but I have a couple of mates that order with me and we are always over £100.0
