woolwich application , how long?

Options
just wondering if anyone else here is currently waiting on a woolwich mortgage applicaton. Im hoping to move and applied to port my mortgage a week ago.im wondering how long they are currently taking to process applications. looking at my paper work when i bought my current house 6 years ago, there was 6 days between thanking me for my application and doing the survey. I am starting to find the wait fustrating.I am hoping to borrow less than i am at present, and it would only represent 48% of the property price.

    Has the valuation been done?
An underwriter looked at the app i submitted for a client to sign it off about 3-4 working days after the valuation was done (That was yesterday).

A lot will depend on if they also have all of the paperwork they need. I made sure they had everything upfront.

My application went into Woolwich (via a broker) 8 days ago now and apparently is still in the queue to even be looked at!

I have the broker chasing it daily and hoping it won't take too much longer to get past this first stage.
A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who posts comps

If your on 8 days i wouldnt expect anything for another week going off what i have been told. Their rates are good and so demand is high.
