Hi,
Does anyone have any experience in how long the finance took to come through to the solicitors. Our solicitor has said that Nationwide normally take a while to transfer the money and we can speed up the process by paying an extra £25.
Our vendors want to complete at the end of the month which would also be suited to us but not essential as we have to serve notice on our flat.

Usually about five days notice is needed between the solicitor sending the report on title and the lender sending the moneyI am a mortgage broker. OP my solicitor has given them notice today and completion is due next thurs - so that was a weeks notice. Received a text from nationwide to confirm.

DIP 12/02/13 - Mortgage application 13/02/13 - Valuation 14/02/13 - Valuation OK 22/02/13 - Mortgage offered 05/03/2013 - Completion 22/03/2013
