Hi, I am about to apply for a second loan with sainsburys bank. I got married a year ago and they have my maiden name. It is also my maiden name that is on the electoral role. When I apply for a loan will this affect my chances? Will I keep the loan in my maiden name or will I tell them of my name change and that it is not on the electoral role?

No one forces you to change your name when you get married

Fire ahead with your maiden name, unless you have been changing your name with other financial institutions already?
Cheers, Des.0
