After the current debacle with Bank of Ireland increasing its base tracker rate from 0.5% to 4.49% to it UK customers (based on small print on a mortgage taken 20 years ago.)

However what is not being publicised is Bank of Ireland are still selling all their financial products in the UK fronted by the warm and fluffy Post Office

Its a wonder that such an unethical organisation is allowed to partner with a government institution.

Beware what you buy and lobby your MP to remove this unethical player from the UK market place unless it happy to use its own tainted brand

    BOI is in a contractual joint venture to supply certain finance products. To exit the contract would incur penalties. No doubt when the contract comes up for renewal the BOI may well depart the UK scene totally. Highly likely reducing further the number of now active lenders.
