Mortgage wanted - no current income

Options
Hey,
I'm currently a student about to graduate, I've secured a job that starts in september on 26500 per year with likelihood to rise every 6 months.

My job is in a new location, and id like to buy a house or flat in august. I have a 30k deposit and I'm probably looking to buy a house for about 120k.

I was wondering if anyone knew if this was possible, since ill technically have no income at all when I wish to initially take the mortgage out, only proof of future income.

thanks in advance for any help and advice people might have

You will need to wait until you start before you can have a mortgage. no income=no mortgage

It will take around 3 months for all the house buying process to go through don't forget.

There are one or two lenders which will accept a written offer and confirmed start date, especially if you are a professional - teacher by any chance?

They may be prepared to offer before you start, but could delay completion until after your employment commences.

Speak to an independent or whole market broker.

Lenders sometimes look kindly on this i.e. if your going to be a doctor or lawyer with a job guarantee. Otherwise you will need to have started the job and not have any probation period. Best of luck
