Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I'm making about £600 a month off my youtube channel. Which I am more than happy about. But I want to increase this since I haven't been putting much effort in of late. But I'm facing some copyright issues.
Example 1. I upload a 10 minute video of me reviewing a film. The film contains 90% movie video with some audio added for emphasis. The main audio is my voiceover.
Is this acceptable or will it be pulled because of copyright? If pulled, how can I make sure this doesn't happen? There must be a way of doing it surely.
Example 2. I upload 30 minutes of video game footage. A "lets play". While the video is not blocked or banned, it is disabled from monetisation. However, I know for a fact that other youtubers are getting 1 million views a day with nothing but let's plays and they are making a fortune off it. When I try to "fight" the issue with youtube, they give me only a few options:

Very cleverly worded. There is no way I can answer any of those because I don't. It just puzzles me how others are getting away with it.
Any thoughts and answers to these questions are greatly appreciated. I just need some guidance so I do the right thing and of course, make things fair.
