I was discharged (AD) about 20 mins ago, just checked!
BRU in place until 2017, which is fine.
No IPA/IPO.
And as a bonus, this week I've had a number of calls with a deputy editor at The Guardian about evidence I gave them regarding CFOLending (formerly Capital Finance One) and an occasion on which they gave me a loan with APR equating over 16,000,000% APR (no, not an error!). A few phonecalls later, they're digging a few more details out and plan to run my story in the national press. We decided against putting my name and photo against it as was originally proposed to me, since then they can then be more candid about the messier elements of my story - addictions, bankruptcy etc - which emphasise some major faults with the concept of easily accessible, online application payday loans.
Anyway, it just feels nice to get a chance to kick back after feeling very much like these companies could do what they liked and, virtually unregulated in a sense, get away with it. I was on the edge of my seat whenever, last week, the news and topical panel shows mentioned Wonga's four figure APR's as if that is the worst it could possibly get.
Much empathy to anybody struggling, still in the insolvency process, and thank everybody so much for the advice, support and general companionship over the last year or so. I hope to keep a check on here and provide input where I can.
Much love.
Adam

Congratulations Adam on your AD, heres to your new start
I have just passed the 6 month mark and looking forward to either ED or AD. I dont regret Bankruptcy at all just wish id done it a year earlier. I have gone from having 3 years of broken sleep and so much stress to full nights of sleep, relaxation and NO stress.

Thanks everybody so much
And mynumber, half way is a great milestone, I certainly think by that point for me it began feeling like I was approaching the end, rather than just getting into the process. It sounds like its pretty smooth sailing for you to AD now really, so all the best.
And everybody else of course, I hope to speak again soon
