WW salmon and broccoli wedge melt

Is there anyone that could reccomend/come up with a recipie to mimic this frozen meal? It's my fave ready meal, and to be honest the only one i do still buy as i do try to recreate my favourite easy meals but have had no luck with this one. I have tried, but cannot get the sauce right, at first i tried cheese sauce, but its not the same. I believe its "savoury sauce" on the packet, but how do i recreate this? I love this meal but at 3 for £5 its expensive for me and is a luxury (only because i love it), otherwise ready meals wouldnt be classed as a luxury. I'd love to be able to do this meal myself, i usually use it for work, as its easy to microwave, but if i could make it up into batches it'd be great :) I can already do the salmon and broccoli parts, its just that lovely (darn!) sauce i cant quite get!

Savoury Sauce: (Water, Skimmed Milk Powder, Modified Maize Starch, Milk Proteins, Vegetable Oil, Wheat Flour, Salt, Sugar, Onion Powder, Flavourings (contains Fish, Milk), Stabilisers - Sodium Tri- and Polyphosphates, Sodium Phosphate, Citric Acid, Spice, Colours - Beta-Carotene, Curcumin, Paprika Extract)

It seems from that its a basic white sauce with salt, sugar, fish sauce? onion powder and a touch of paprika. So I can't be of any more use, likely to be a trial and error thing.

I can't imagine it being much cheaper making it yourself but I'm sure it must be healthier.

If you want to get as close to the taste as possible--i would cook some flour in vegetable oil with onion powder (can usually be found at ethnic supermarkets), add some semi skimmed milk and stir. Season with turmeric (curcumin is turmeric, even though it looks like it should be cumin) and paprika. Make sure you season liberally with salt, but add the sugar gradually. The sugar in weight watchers foods is usually there to help improve taste because they take fat out--so since you're using real milk instead of water with starch to make up probably around half the base, you may not need as much sugar. If it still isn't quite right, you could try adding a very small squeeze of lemon and a drop or two of fish salt.

Now, if I were going to replicate this for myself, I would make a white sauce with half butter half olive oil, but I'd saute half an onion chopped finely, in the fat before I added the flour and milk. I would add paprika, turmeric and a bit of lemon. I'd season far less liberally with salt and not bother with the sugar.
