Br and car worries

we both r gong BR soon.. We both own cars ... 7/8 yr old ones nowt great n wrth around 2k each .. I'm a field worker working n several bases a month . Expenses r not an issue as I don't get them as each office is about the Same distance from my home as my main base. So buses r not possible or me as I don't live on a route to all offices,, also have a 1 year old needs takin to my mums each day opposite direction to my work ... My car was bought by my dad n. paid him back so coud I say it's his tat he gifted ??? As I'm sooooo worked bou loosin my car...

My husband works from home and in newcastle .. Various hours n se nights so he needs car as not always on bus route or can't get to work n time.. He also supports me with pick our on up on a night and he as a CHID from prev relationship that we have stay 3 ads o need to tak hm to school too on a morning n collect in a night ..

So no cars woud be a nightmare r us .. Will they te take thm ?..

Our SOA is high for travel ..
Insurance £50 a month
Petrol £380 a month
MIT n maintenance £60 a month
Parking at work £220 a month
Tax £15 a month

These r for both of us ,,,,,
