Guess what my essentials were? A course of six bikini waxes at my beauticians :D

Still waiting to see if the OR will notice that one!
I nearly burst my stitches imagining the OR trying to repossess that! If he asks for proof of purchase, I dare you to supply the wax strips with the proof still attached, & I don't mean the receipt! :rotfl:

I've pretty much got all my figures in for what owe now - been doing some evasive answers when asked if I'm planning on settling the account! Anyway, I had guesstimated around £40k of debt, and in fact it's nearer 50K. How does that even happen!!

I'm ploughing slowly and painfully through a mountain of unopened mail. Why do we think if we don't open the mail, it won't be there? I feel a bit stupid really!

    Not nice is it?

Been there recently. Not nice at all. :grouphug:

    Take care,

OP, you can cancel the payments to loans. I stopped mine online. You should do this anyway if you are going BR. I went into my branch and withdrew £600+ several times. I felt quite cagey, but my mum just said to me, tell them your buying a car or need it for your holiday!
I needed, rent and living expenses for 4 weeks as it took ages to open the cashminder coop account, post BR.

hi guys...this withdrawing lumps of cash before br, is this not dodgy looking to the or?, i know you say its for essentials but surely people could do this for a spend up or blow out, can this not result in a bro ?.

No, as I said we had no access to Bank Accounts for the duration it took Co-op to open (3-4weeks) a family of seven needs quite a bit for that period. £625 for BR £650 for rent-so £1300 before any food for the months, and the car tyres were illegal etc. I kept receipts. Obviously they don't account for every penny, but a large percentage.
