Just a word of warning regarding returning sale shoes to Ravel shops! I initially purchased 2 pairs online, one sale pair and one full price pair. When I was in the Trafford Centre last week, I noticed that the full price pair were actually £25 cheaper in store so today, I bought them again for the lower price and came home, picked up the other pairs and went back to return them for a refund. The assistant had no problem refunding the non-sale shoes, but was extremely reluctant to refund the sale shoes pointing out the disclaimer on the till desk regarding sale shoes and the fact that they do not refund. I had to quote the Distance Selling Regs to her to get them refunded after much humming and ahhing on her part.
Sorry for length, but I just thought that it may help others...

regulations that apply to goods sold over the phone or internet. (ie: goods that you cannot actually inspect until you have paid for and bought them)
  • I purchased 4 pairs of shoes from the ravel in the glasgow branch but one of them did not fit, now i knew from reading the refund policy at the cash desk that for any sale shoes i could only get an exchange which was fine, a lady in front of me obviously did not read the refund policy and was shouting and screaming at the poor sales assistant who politely explained to the lady about the policy. If people actually read the refund policy when they buy there shoes then people who do read and understand the policy do not have to wait for ages just because certain people think that shouting and screaming about the law and whatever else just so they get there own way. i am sorry but personally for £10 shoes get a grip and pick another pair (RANT OVER!!!) I just hate waiting while people moan to the poor sales staff who r trying to do there best!!!!

Clarks shops are already recieving Ravel shoes which have been branded as Clarks so I'm not sure how much longer Ravel shops will still be getting deliveries.

I imagine there are plenty in the warehouse at the moment to keep the stores going for a while & some stores will close earlier than others depending on lease agreements etc.

I must try and get to the Trafford centre on Wednesday 'just in case' they have any bargains.

Anyone been recently? Is there much to be had in stores?

    :)
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

Indeed. Sometimes, I wish people will just read the policy regarding sales stuff, reduced and damages stuff, etc, before buying them. there is no point shouting at a poor SA, as she is just trying to do her job.

    Hey,

Does anyone who bought the Office shoes know if they are come up small, as i have narrow feet.

Also does anyone know where you get the discount codes from?

Just stick "Ravel code" into Google and it'll come up with the goods. (Also tends to work well with pretty much any company you want a discount code for).
